Purchase Management for Quantum Control
The Purchase Management module is designed to provide purchasing personnel an overview of all parts needing procurement based on sales order requirements, work order requirements and below minimum stock levels. It allows buyers to consolidate purchasing activity to eliminate redundancy.
The User Interface for Purchase Management list all parts that are considered ‘needs’ and allows the user to conveniently match the needs with established buying sources. This module presents a global view of all open buying requirements. An added feature is the ability to combine parts needed from various sources on one purchase order providing the ability to negotiate the best vendor price.
Needs are automatically derived from the Sales Order, Shop Control, Kitting and Manufacturing Modules. This module will also filter needs based on requirement need date and purchase lead time so that requirements are purchased in a just-in-time fashion.

Sample Reports
- Purchase Management Report - This report prints items needing to be purchased system wide, including needs from sales order, work orders and reorder levels. A calculation of what needs to be purchased is performed based upon what you have selected to include on report, against what is currently outstanding on purchase orders. Various filters and display options are available with this report.
