Remote Access for Quantum Control

The growing need for remote system access for your off-site and mobile user is why Quantum Control was designed to work with solutions providing access via the internet.

Quantum Control can accommodate off-site users through the use of third-party remote access server products such as Citrix Presentation Server and Window’s Remote Desktop Services.

Component Control’s Network Services Department offers consultancy services to help companies succeed with their Remote Access and configuration projects.

Furthermore, we have web service solutions available for your Customer Base by deploying our Parts Seach App module.

Citrix XenApp

Citrix XenApp is a robust application-serving platform that lets you leverage the Net from LANs, WANs and the Internet to Intranets and Extranets. With Citrix XenApp, businesses can effectively extend the reach of Windows Servers and next-generation operating systems to users anywhere.

Windows Remote Desktop Services

Microsoft has solidified their position in the thin-client market with their Windows Remote Desktop Services offering. Windows provides a cost effective method for businesses to provide remote access to Quantum Control and other applications. By purchasing licenses and configuring their Windows Server machine, businesses can provide remote access to traveling salespeople and telecommuters.

As with Citrix XenApp, Windows Remote Desktop Services requires third-party licensing by device or by user, and can require dedicated, powerful server hardware.
