Using Outlook and Quantum on Windows’ terminal services (TS) & Citrix

Quantum can utilize two types of email transports for TS and Citrix, SMTP and MAPI.

In Citrix XenApp, Presentation Server, and TS we recommend using SMTP. The corresponding SMTP settings can be found in Quantum, User, Global settings, Email settings. These settings can be by User or Globally. To set by User, input the information and click ok and select no for the next option box. If you would like the settings globally select yes to the last option box.

If you would like to use MS Outlook you will need to install Outlook on the Citrix server itself and configure each user. Configure Quantum just by selecting MAPI and save.

Quantum will look for the local MAPI account.

All other configurations are not supported by Component Control.
